So hard.. I'm going through the same thing, except my boyfriend and I are attending different colleges far apart from eachother. What I am doing is just waiting to see what happens -- but it definitely is hard being in a relationship when you're far apart, simply because you're both experiencing new and different things apart from eachother. But if it's meant to be, I am sure that it will work out. I wish you the best of luck!:)

If you are in love with him, then don't. Otherwise, yes.

Marines are more than likely to have sex with other women at strange places in other countries whenever they have leave time. Remember this. They can get anyone they want and it won't cost them much besides pride.

Chances are he won't come home alive either, knowing the usa prez's policies on soldiers these days in foreign countries.

Hmm. personally I would have an open relationship. He could do what he wants over sees but when he gets here to me he's mine. But that's if you're comfortable with your relationship.

Why? This is more reason, if you love him to be their for him, at least he is making a life for himself for the future, don"t you want to be a part of it?

Yes.
If you are asking this question, it is clear you are not going to be there for him. Don't tie him up, emotionally. He doesn't need that kind of grief.

it depends if you love him and you can trust him then don't let go just because he is leaving. if its something the two of you want to do then you should.

Yep, and then see where things are at when he's finished with what he has to do. It's his thing---don't try to make it yours.
