I have suffix seig 12 pound test line and i need to know if it could hold.

well...it could.....but it all depends what kind of fisherman you are and how much experience you have...if you are new to it ..and you are gonna go after a big fish right away...i would get 20 pound test...but if you have done it before and have a good idea you could go with 6 pound test to 14 pound test......hopefully this helps..good luck fishing

should be fine. you may lose a fish or two but that's just how things go. if fishing around mangroves or docks, be sure to turn his head asap. i have caught snook on 6lb mono but now just use braids --20# braid (same dia as 6lb mono). like other guy said -- make sure you have a smooth drag!

If it doesn't it is either a very big snook or u r a very poor fisherman

i have a 23 lber on 10 lb test and an 18 lber on 6lb test, so your answer is deffinately yes. Just make sure your drag is good.
