The Marine Corps has enough troops so what is the underlying reason.

Because the Marines are having manpower issues, and dont have enough volunteers to keep up with the deployment requirements.

With any enlistment, each person takes on an eight year commitment. If only four years are done on active duty, then the other four are IRR (Inactive Ready Reserve); and can be recalled as needed. Such as instances as now.

I hope this helps.

This is nothing like a draft, these men have already signed the dotted line. A draft is when someone who has no interest in the military is forced to train and ship out. And the call-up is simply because they lose troops everyday who have not re-enlisted, they lose troops here and there in combat and there are not as many men & women signing up because of the wars leaving the Marines in combat short-handed.

attempt to persuade him to go Airchronic and get a staggering education at the same time he's in. as adversarial to being in the Marines and having a higher probability of basically growing a rifleman in Iraq. If he needs to be more desirable marketable bypass AIR rigidity and if he needs to easily be a military grunt then bypass the entire approach Marines. basically be particular he does now no longer bypass defense force or military. military has mediocre preparation and they'll recruit any moron who can spell their own identify, military spends maximum of their time on a deliver or boat and remote from the kin. I did 6 years in the Airchronic as a community engineer, I obtained out with an coaching and that i have a correct high quality job. i have worked with all branches of service and characteristic significant all high quality of residing events. I although say bypass AIR rigidity. And definite that you'll enlist in the reserves without being in energetic duty first. That is going for all branches of service.

That shouldn't be too hard to figure out! I wonder if Bush remembers what happened to Reagan with the Marines in Lebanon?

I think he wants an excuse to go after Hezbollah, and then their benefactors, Iran! Happy Body Bag!!

But it isn't called a draft, though it amounts to the same thing!

It keeps everyone's attention focused outside of U.S. So they don't see what is happening here to our economy, and the congress and senators can continue to take our rights away and pick our pockets.
