For those of you who drive around with those "cute" little stickers that say "I support the troops", who do you really support besides those who make and sell your stickers?

What does that have to do with Communism?

You think buying a magnet that says Support Our troops makes someone a communist? You don't think that is just a little over the line? I'm a Military wife and I have one of those "Cute" stickers that says that on the back of my SUV, and I just don't see where that makes me a Communist.
You know, some people just want to show their support and don't know any other way to do so. They don't have all "Supporting The Troops" knowledge that you obviously have, so they do what they can. Kind of a dammed if you do, dammed if you don't situation! If they don't support them in anyway, their asses! But if they do support them by displaying a sticker, people like you all them Commies.
I can say as a Military wife that I greatly appreciate it when I see one of those magnets/stickers on the back of a car. It makes me realize that person cared and thought enough of our Armed Forces to at least let everyone know that comes in contact with their car driving down the street that they support and care about our Military.
Sadly, there are enough people that make obnoxious and rude statements about our Military. So please don't criticize the ones that are trying to reach out. It's disturbing that something like this could actually anger you, and you give a strong impression that this actually pisses you off.
With that said, do you even have any idea how many people that do sale those turn around and give the money they earn to help Military Families of killed and injured soldiers? And when we purchase those or anything from our Military Exchanges, a good bit of that money goes right back into MWR which benefits all of us.

You know nothing about what you are talking about. I as a SOLDIER who is serving my country so that idiots like you have the right to say grossly idiotic things you post on here. So what if people want to put a bumper sticker on their cars that say I Support The Troops. Good for them. I appreciate ever little bit of support we get from everyone. I appreciate seeing those bumper stickers on non military vehicles. If more people would show support for something they believe in like these folks, than maybe we wouldn't have such a screwed up world. Hey as matter fact why don't come join me in the fight for our country. Or are you to much of a coward? Hmmmmm

what does it matter? it's just a nice sentiment. i didn't buy the sticker because i thought the money would actually go to the troops. i bought it because i wanted to show support for my friends who are in the military. and for someone who is acting so self righteous, why don't you give some suggestions for how people could support the troops? since you seem to know so much about it

Well I got an idea anyone with those stickers should go over seas grab a fully attomatic weapon and let one soilder go home in you place. huh how about that. who here is really ready to be that selfless. I don't support the war or the troops but I am willing to go die so that a human being may see his family. I am willing to die so that one young kid never has to kill anyone.

here this is for the troops

I give thanks to you dear soldier,
Who stands so firm and brave
While dealing with the fears
You may meet an early grave.

This war was not your choosing
And yet you give your all
To protect our beloved freedom
Lest we should bow and fall

You stand and fight with all your might
For friends and family left at home
You make us proud, we’ll tell you so
When you come marching home.

You fight to free a people
downtrodden and opressed
By a cruel and wicked vulture
Who puts you to the test.

You fight with fiercest pride
At who you are and what you do.
Though sleep deprived and weary
You give of yourself anew.

Your resolve has never faltered
Though often faced with fear of death
Your fellow soldiers count you faithful
Though it be with your last breath.

I could not be more proud
Were you my daughter or my son
For you stand among the very best
Who fight ‘til the battle’s won.

We pray for you dear soldier
That you return to this home shore,
That God will bring you safely home
To live and love once more.

May God bless you, and may God bless America!

I wouldn't be surprised if some of that money isn't going to al-Qaeda.

I bet Ole bin Ladin and his boys are rolling around their caves in Afghanistan laughing their AO and thanking Allah for all those Patriotic Americans buying his stickers!

Hey ungrateful dork,

Stop whining about the unprecedented amount of support that the American people are giving today's US military.

I think all those people who drive around putting yellow ribbons on trees are WAY more patriotic and doing a much better job, don't you?
