A couple of years ago, My sister and I shared a room in her apartment while I was in college. I know I was only there for the summer, but she moved her boyfriend into the room we were sharing. We got into an argument about this and she physically attacked me. I never thought she would do something like this. I felt she choose him over me. Since then we have had a bad relationship and she is still with this dude. Was it wrong of me to tell her to kick him out? Should I forgive her?

It wasn't wrong of you to ask her to kick him out. She let him move in without consulting you.

Yes, you should forgive her. She's your sister and it happened years ago. Let the hurt feelings go and move on.

Well was it as much her room as yours? If so, it was wrong for you to kick them out. If it has been a couple of years, and she is still with this dude, it must have been more than a summer romance. You two need to get back to being sisters, forgive and forget. Move on and make beautiful memories, that is what families should do.

You had ever right to get mad. You shared the room and paid the bills too. She should have asked you if you were okay with it or at least told you. It was her apartment but she should have told you and let you make new arrangements in time. Who wants to listen to their sister and her BF going at it? Attacking you was a big no, and the fact they are still together is a sign she hasn't changed much. Forgive her, but don't expect things to change. I would be friendly because your family, but keep a safe distant too.

1. she should have moved in with her boyfriend in a different apartment
2. physically attacking you shows that she wanted to dominate you like animals do to someone younger (guinea pigs do that)
3. no, it wasn't wrong of you to tell her to kick him out
4. sometimes the importance of sisterly love is overrated- where there's no mutual respect- it is more of a love-hate relationship...which isn't very healthy for you
5. STAY AWAY FROM HER- but be open to forgive her when SHE comes to you asking you for forgiveness...
6. never move in with her again

First off its her house so she says who lives in there, what your sister did was outa frustration and anger but that doesnt excuse what she did to you. I would say chill from her for a while as hard as that may be she needs to realise she was wrong in attacking her sister and she can only do this when her mind is clearer. Trust me I have enough of the same trouble with my own sister to know what I am saying here

If you rationally spoke with your sister and gave her reasons why you wanted the guy out then you definitely went the right direction. And also I'm pretty sure that if I were your parents I would agree with you on that one. It is totally unacceptable to have all three of you in one room. But she is your sister as well so try to patch things up because in time you'll see how important she really is in your life

No! What right did she have to move him into your shared space?

If it's any consolation, my sister physically attacked me a couple of years ago, in front of the whole family. I chucked her out there and then and have spoken to her since, but in the back of my mind she's still a silly cow who will wake up to herself one day. maybe you're feeling the same way, LOL...

You were not wrong but let me tell you something. I was right when my sister and I got into a arugement, that was 12 years ago. We still don't speak and I don't miss her any more. Is this what you want? If not then just forget it. You don't have to forgive her just forget about it.

This is a very difficult situation. Obviously your siste ought to have discussed the position with you not just moved her boyfriend oin with you both. The bible tells ys we should forgive those who have wronged us. If you can find it in your heart to do such a commendable act. your relationship might become easier. Her act might have been her way of saying find a place of your own. I hope you can resolve the situation. Life iis too sdhort to bear grudges.
