Sure. I was shy growing up. Keeps you from doing a lot of things you could have done otherwise. Try to break yourself out of it. What helps is doing things that you find hard to do. Once you do it the next time its easier and easier.

There's not a "problem" with it. You might encounter more problems with relationships and such because you are shy. But that's not something that can't be cured. I have a feeling you're not ALWAYS shy, there are a select few people that you open up to and those are the people that you're always around. If you want to open up to someone think of how you met your best friend or became friends with them. But whatever you do, DON"T try to change yourself for someone. You probably won't be able to pull it off and then will come off as a "fake". Good Luck. Personally All my friends are shy, so this stuff comes naturally to me!!

Definitely. You do less things than others. You usually miss good opportunity when you are too shy to try out something. You eat less too when you are offered food but too shy to accept. You will miss some fortune too. And worst of all, you may miss someone special.

well actully it depend on what situation....like for example shy infront of girls, shy in public or either shy when your in a job interview...
coz actually being shy while having the interview wont really help for you to get a better job...lack of selfconfidence and being shy infront of girls...i mean this is very common on both side girls/boys and its natural so i dont think is a problem.

i dont think there is anything wrong with being shy, i also think everyone is a lil bit, most people are to afraid to be themselves when doing new things like meeting people, new school, new job,new commuinity. i think its just how people are. so dont be afraid just go out there and be yourself, live your life to the fullest, and most of all be true to yourself.

Nope. Be the person the Lord made you. But don't allow shyness to shield you from enjoying life!

Not at all. My husband was very shy. If he would not have been, I may not have approached him and who knows? It was very attractive to me.
