These boxes are small,(like for just a few pills). They have some kind of timer that you set to go off when it's time to take your pill. Several drug stores carried them. I even tried a medical supply store. They appear to have been wiped off the planet

I think they're plastic and either beep or buzz (or maybe even vibrate), to alert you when to take your pill.

The websites I've checked don't even have a category for pill boxes,

I've seen them specifically at CVS, Eckerd, and Rite Aid. They're with the other pill boxes. Ask the pharmacist, not just any of the floor employees; they may not know what you're talking about but the pharmacist definitely should. They may be able to order them for you if they don't have them.

I never heard of those boxes. How about trying to set your alarm clock/alarm on cell phone. Place your medication next to it. Then at the right time, it will ring and remind you to take your medicine.
