How could I remove a BB from under the skin? One is under my friends cheek and he cant get it out, he can feel it. We are sure it is a BB and not something else? Would there be a way to remove it yourself or should he see a doctor?

*Edit* It is a copper BB, so don't anyone say something about lead poisoning, I don't imagine a copper BB could poison you at all.

You are right BBs are made of cooper, but did you know they are coated with a oil to keep them shiny and to stop them from sticking together? The bb gun that shot the bb is also dirty in the barrel. So all in all your friend by now has a good start of an infection. I'm a EMT doing 400 pluse calls a year and believe me this needs a Drs attention.Get off the internet and be a ture Friend ,get your Buddy to the ER NOW.

Go to a doctor... most BB's are made from lead, your friend could get lead poisoning or the wound could get infected.

See a doctor please. See one soon. It could lead to a real bad infection if you leave it there or other problems. You don't want to attempt o remove it yourself, you could do more harm than good. It is a minor surgical procedure that is done many a times in the doctor's office.

see a doctor man, my friend shot himself in the reverse side of the palm, left it in for a day or so, when he finally saw a doctor, they saw that it was only centimeters from a main tendon/ligament, which broken or manipulated with could have caused hand paralysis. he needed hand surgury
best to leave it to the pros buddy

Leave it in. It's fine. My friend's brother still carries one around to this day. He's fine. Plus now he's built up a tolorance to lead.
