Recently I've decided to mooch a hair style off Marilyn Manson. The problem is my hair is VERY curly and I wanted to chemically straighten it then bleach a handful of my bangs and dye it red and the rest of my hair black, will my hair fall out or get nasty and dry out?

My hair has been died black many a times so it's not a virgin to this sort of thing.

The only thing chemically straightening your hair will do is burn it out, and then, when it starts growing back, it's going to be curly anyways. So, not only are you destroying the beautiful curly hair, but you are wasting money. I suggest if you REALLY want the coloring, you're going to have to starighten your hairwith an iron or hair dryer for less damage.

Its too much! Chemical treatments,bleach and dye, all dry the hair and weaken the hair shaft. Your hair will start to break off,through dryness,and cause many split ends.Perhaps you should do it in stages,with deep conditioning treatments in between to help protect your hair.

your going to kill you hair. yes it will look good for a few days but after that it's not your hair it's your new pet. especially u have curly hair. just try using a regular straightner hot iron with steam. the moisture helps a whole lot. black die is okay for your hair but red.... try not to go for a hand full

It might make your hair gummy (in texture). You'll have some seriously dry, seriously damaged hair.
Also, it's hard to keep a genuine red color for very long. It'll be high maintanance.

if u dont use the right treatment for your hair it will look damaged. use leave in conditioner everytime u wash ur hair. or use a serum for frizzy hair so that u can straighten it without harming it.

i dye my hair often and after your hair dries when you get out of the shower for the first time after dying it, it gets all wierd and straw- like but it only happens the first time. dont worry it wont be too bad.

Instead of damaging your curly hair -- why not try a wig- instead.

It will dry out a little, just ask the person who does it what they suggest about aftercare.

So you think that the whole "I look like a woman but I'm really undecided" look is hott? Maybe it's not your hair that needs to be changed.
