Instead of answering with a question (rolls eyes) you will have to put more color in to tone down the blonde. Shampoo alone will not do it.

Shampoo itself will not tone down the hair but a good conditioner with color extracts will not make it as bright , e.g Dove but get the on for darkish hair .Colour fades over time.

I do!
You can pay full price for Clairol's "Shimmering Lights Original Conditioning Shampoo"
OR
You can go to a beauty Supply store, like Sally's and get their "Generic Value Products" version. It is an exact copy of Clairol's formula. Just a lot less expensive.
The label states, "Takes away the yellow while adding sparkle and shine".
"I" would explain it by saying, It tones down the brassiness.
Hope this helps you.

Use a shampoo for brunettes, yet while that would not artwork, try some distinctive shampoo's... Trial and blunder is the only thank you to bypass. Or ask your stylist, she could understand greater advantageous than everyone on Yahoo solutions could.

either buy the shampoo with a violet tone to it..or..you may laugh when I tell you this but when you wash your hair put some tomato juice in it, this takes the greeny brassiness off the hair...it works I tell ya!!!!
