Actually, a long time ago in the medieval times when sneezing was a symptom of something you die from because of all the diseases with no cure (antibiotics was not discovered yet), "bless you" was said to ward off death. So, saying thank you would be appropriate to someone wishing you good will.

It is a blessing to be able too sneeze, and that is the right thing to say. There are some people that are not able to sneeze. All blessing comes from GOD.

When you sneeze, your heart stops for a brief second. That is where the term "Bless you" comes from. Your blessed because it started back up again.

I Usually just say "Thanks" or "Thank You"

Bless you is a common English expression used to wish a person well after sneezing.

There are many theories regarding the origin of this custom. Look it up at Wikipedia.

...thank you?

Sometimes I just say nothing. Sometimes I smile. Although, personally, I hate it when people sneeze and say, "excuse me", as if they did something terrible.
