The maximum age differs in the different branches and also depends on what career (Officer or Sergeant) you want to make and if you already have degrees or a profession.

military in the u.s. is 18, however you can get in at 17
in Germany it is manditory for the males to join the military after their version of highschool for a minimum of 2 years, I'm not sure at what age that would be though, but I'm thing between 16-18
but don't quote me on that

I am in the U.S. You can enter at 18 but if you are under 18, you need a parent or guardians permission.

im in england and my brother has been in the army for 4 years and he was 16 when he joined that was straight after he left school
