It doesnt matter how long your training is....

If you are a 4 year enlistee then its 36 months (I believe)

If you are a 6 year then its 59 months...

Basically when you apply for your CJR you can apply to cross train. It all depends on your career field. You can only cross train into a career field that is hurting more then your current one. Me I worked in the Command Post and tried and they said I couldnt so I went blue to green and am now in the Army with a job I love - MP.

A change in MOS is up to the Air Force,a nd may depend on the current job you are trained for,and what job you want to be trained to.

I think you have to be in your second hitch at least and maybe a campaign to get the commanders attention without being obvious. Like going to chapel on Base and helping the preacher and getting to know him or her. And so on...Good Luck!

it depends on your job, if you are like weather that go to 2 years of tech school then you have to give them time to recoup the money they spent to train you. some other jobs like mine AGE (aerospace ground equipment mechanic) it was 4 months of tech school so you can transfer sooner.
