I'm kinda thinking it has to do with effort to get to know the One you've started to believe in maybe? and just expecting Him to do all the work in the relationship & when it doesn't work out that way you start to doubt? what about someone who tries reading Word a little, says they believe, then after a month, says not sure anymore? back & forth several times yet prays & says, "God, please show me...make me feel like doing it Your way"?

Information.
The TRUTH will set you free.
You gotta Learn what GOD Say's about you after You are SAVED, else the Devil will alway's give you trouble about your Salvation, and you won't be able to Walk in Much FAITH, unless your Grounded on the ROCK. Everytime you try to Build your House, the Flood (Lie's of Satan) will wash it away if you Don't Learn some TRUTH about your Salvation.
Hope this helps.

Matthew Chapter 13 talks about how the seed (word of God) falls by the wayside, on stony soil, on thorny soil or on good soil. When the seed falls on rocky soil, the person falls away when the going gets tough. Pray that that won't be you. Someone in the Bible prayed "Help thou my unbelief" - a good prayer if you're having doubts. I'll pray for you. Just take a leap of faith -- go to a good Bible-believing church, read your Bible and pray everyday and see what happens. It worked for me and I've been a Christian for a lot of years.

I really don't think I agree with that. A true Christian never is undecided, does a turn-around. Let me re-state that. I have known some (very few), who say they have lost the faith, but I myself would find that hard to do. I really do apologize for trying to answer this question with an honest answer, but my faith is so strong, I cannot imagine anyone turning away from his or her religion.

The truth is there is a very real spiritual battle going on for your soul. The enemy wants to make you waiver. Rebuke him in the name of Jesus and he will flee from you.
