I remember in the 70s when a lot of christians were getting "rapture-happy" a singing group came to our church to say the world was reaching the end of its rope, things could hardly get worse.... The 70s were nothing compared to life now, and life in another 30 years could be even worse. The end is nearer, but I'm not so sure it's near as you and I would think of that term.

That's why there is so much violence and dishonesty. The end of the age is near. But before mankind will believe how bad it can get they have to be shown that the Creator is correct in all that he says. This world does not keep the Laws of the Creator or even belive his name. But they will very soon we only have a little time left and all the world that has eyes to see will know that Father Yahweh tried to warn them not to go this way.

Violence and dishonesty have always been a party of human interaction. Human history is marred with violence, one group fighting another for personal gains.
Dishonesty is an attempt by individuals or groups to gain power over others through the use of falsehoods.

You're absolutely right that violence and dishonesty are indicators of the end of the age. But you have to be more clear.
The end of what?
The end of the world? Nope.
The end of the age? Yup.
The age may end November 5, 2006.

Certainly violence and dishonesty one of the signs that the end is approaching. It was well predicted in all major religions. Actually, it would be more correct to say that when the end is near, people become more immoral and without virtues. Therefore, an individual advice is to each his own. Take care of your self and soul, you reap what you sow. Causes and Effects is what all lives is about.

There has always been violence and dishonesty in the world. In fact, if you look back over the past few thousand years, we're probably at an all-time low. We just have mass media today to show us all of it.

Threatening world events should not be a source of anxiety to true believers who are trusting in Christ as their personal Savior. We who know the Lord are looking forward to His soon return, and we are assured that our future is in His hands.
Perhaps you do not feel this assurance. The key is to realize that God made us so we could have a personal relationship with Him. This relationship gives us peace. The Bible says, "He will keep in perfect peace all those who trust in Him, whose thoughts turn often to the Lord" (Isaiah 26:3, TLB). When we leave God out of our lives, there is an empty space left in our hearts. We try to fill that empty space in all kinds of ways: sex, drugs, alcohol, pleasure, personal relationships, money—the list is endless. But it will never be filled by anything or anyone except God. No matter the troubles in the world, you can have peace with God.
The Scriptures give us many promises to keep us in God's perfect peace when the world is shaking with fear. We are to "watch and pray," but we are not to have an unwholesome fear, which is equivalent to doubting God's Word. Jude 24 describes God as "Him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy." In Ephesians 6:13 we read, "Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand." It is important that we make our relationship with Christ a priority, that we faithfully serve Him in consistent Christian living, and that we eagerly look forward to His coming again. Some relevant Bible passages to read are Matthew 24:42; Luke 21:36; Ephesians 6:10-18; 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11; 2 Timothy 4:8; Titus 2:11-15; 1 Peter 4:7; and 2 Peter 3:9-18. May God bless you as you trust in Him.

it may seem like that but human history is coated brutal wars. it doest not make it right by any means, its just reassuring( in a really sick way) that we have survived each others violence. albert eistian said i dont know what weapons will be used in WW 3 but i know in WW 4 people will be fighting with rocks and stones. The other joke is people know when to stop, sigh peace treaties, the start again. just love the ones you love help when you can, heres a great pithy/corning say "be part of the solution"

This is the final or last dispensation of times. Known as the fulness of times, when all wickedness and corruptness is at its maximum level. This is the most corrupt world ever created and the souls which live upon it are the most valiant ever created, that is why the testing ground is so futile. All the people on the earth living now, at one time, before we came to this earth, believed in God and supported His Son Jesus Christ's Plan of Salvation. We came to earth to receive bodies and to be tested and tried so that we could inherit all the Father and Son has if found worthy. Some of us are now failing, but were once valiant-- pray for those souls (it helps to know that we were once righteous, known as our first estate). The end is near and I pray for the souls of the righteous to be saved and for those souls who are less Honorable to repent and hear the voice of the Lord who is mighty to save. Amen
