Never heard of cake doughnuts. So I'd prefer glazed.

God this was such a important question that I had to make sure I answer it.Drum roll please.......Oh I don't eat doughnuts cuz their to fatting and I might as well just slap it on my hip cuz thats where it ends up. Now that u have made me think of a nice big gooey doughnut I think I'm going to go cry.

nothing will ever beat a hot Kryspry Kreme yeast -- glazed and creme filled and chocolate covered doughnut.
Or a plain old yeast chocolate covered glazed doughnut.
Or maybe a yeast glazed doughnut.
But Taste-tee-oos comes really close.

I like glazed only if they are hot, but maple squares are good anytime..for those not in New England area..maple frosted/yeast raised stuffed with whipped cream..nothing like that in the NW I miss'em

Chocolate-frosted ones w/sprinkles on top; cream-filled ones; all chocolate ones. Not a huge Krispy Kreme fan, though.
