Okay. I sent a freind of mine a letter from a "secret admirer." She's been gushing over it all week. I sent it to see how she would react to how I really felt about her. How should I let her know that it's me and that I've wanted her for awile? I'm afriad to freak her out.

If she knows it was another girl then I don't see a problem but if you didn't say it was then send her another letter saying that it is a girl. But other than that I say go for it.

Send another note. Remember she doesn't know who you are so she can't respond directly to you.
Ask if she would like to meet you? Warn her that she might be surprised.
Select two outfits you know she has, one for "yes", the other for "no". Tell her which day you will be looking for her answer.
If she wears the yes outfit, approach her.
If she wears the no outfit, send a final note and close the relationship. If you try to keep it open secretly, you will slip sooner or later and give yourself away. That would be a "bad thing".
