Thank you! It's very important to receive positive feedback, at a time when all seems for naught.

There are times when I tire of my ceaseless pursuit of pleasure. It becomes my cross to bear (no pun intended!)

I thank you kindly for your words of support! I will soldier on!

How about I live a good life like no one is watching?

I don't kick the poor, scorn the good folks, or gloat over myself. In my business, I am not dishonest, greedy, heartless, or lacking integrity.

Yet, I don't believe in God.

Of course, if someone is honest, compassionate, and good, then why is it? Is it because he honestly is a good person, or is it because he fears someone is watching him?

Given the choice between a moral atheist and a moral Christian, I'd choose the atheist. At least I know his morality is genuine. I do not know if the Christian is genuine or if he is trying to con God.

We live in a sinful world but If you look at the Ten Commandments you will see that we are all siners and we need to Ask God for forgiveness and Trust His Son to Save us from Judgment (and Yeah that judgment is HELL! ! !)

I'll paraphrase....Jesus said the way you treat the least of your people (poor, crippled, etc) is the way you treat me. I know the Bible doesn't mention kharma by name, but I do believe that whatever you do to others good or bad, comes back to you eventually.

God has a plan for our lives, everyone will have theirs day. we can make it good ,or bad. So don't worry about what other people are doing, just be sure that you are doing what God wants you to do.
