I live away from my parents with no financial support. I am going to be starting college in a few weeks and need an evening job so I can pay the bills! Where abouts can I go to find one?

Restaurants always are looking for help - easy to get in, hard work, but good money to be made if you find the right place.

The service industry is full of easy to get, entry-level jobs. As the other submitter said: Restaurants are always hiring if you have the stamina and temperament. I've been waitressing and bartending for many years. You might consider bartending/cocktail waiting if you are over 21 (in some states you can cocktail at 18). Pizza delivery is a good option if you have a good driving record. One of my favorite college jobs was working overnight in a home occupied by mentally disabled people. I had to do some light housework, cooking, and transportation. In return I got about 5 hours a night to study. I also worked as a Night Auditor in a small chain motel which afforded me plenty of time for studying. As a rule, many night jobs will allow you free time to do your homework while you get paid.
