It looks about 40ft tall and is made of galvinized steel I think

clearly,that tv antenna is for the tv reception you are using in your house.(if your not using cable) or if its the old antenna you are once using and replaced it with a new one.then if it irritates you why not dismantle it and maybe you can think of something where it can be used later.(",)

Since it's so tall you must not be in a good location for the local TV transmitters, but after Feb 17 2009 you may wish to hook up your new Hi-Def tuner to it and see if you can get the new digital channels. You will probably want to put a new 'twin lead' to it first.

may be worth a few bucks in scrap value, depending on what it is made of
