i think if you belive in god, you might as well believe in santa, the easter bunny, && the tooth fairy.

as children, many of our parents told us that if we are good all year, santa will bring us gifts on december 25th. but if we are bad, we will get nothing but coal. this was a fun conspiracy to make us behave.
and when we were children, many of us were taught that there is a man in the sky that will protect us from any harm, and he has a plan for our lives. then that if we are good, he will send us to heaven...a beautiful happy place...but, if we are bad, we will burn in hell for all eternity. this was also a conspiracy to make us behave how the government wants us to. this was started a very long time ago. and now it is just getting in the way of our new laws and beliefs.
wouldnt just letting go of the belife of god make everything so much easier? just like santa, we need to accept the fact that there is no man watching your every move making sure you behave. cept for the gov...

First off, I see why you are blond.

Secondly, Christ and God are existent like you and me. I can tell you all the ways Christ and God have helped me. I can tell you all the blessings he's given me for staying true to Him. I can tell you what an impact he has made for so many other people I know. If you are so sure he doesn't exist, here's a question for you. Where do you go when you die? What "conspiracy" will you follow?

Third, Santa does have a book for his followers to stay believing in him, but Christ does. Christ and God exist. John 5:43-44 states "I have come in my Father's name, and you who do not receive me; if another comes in his own name, him you will recieve. How can you believe, who receive honor from one another and do not seek the honor that comes from the one and only God?" Literally translated, if you believe in something other than God, you might as well believe in Santa.

Finally, I know that when I am gone from this earth, I know my destination for staying with Him. John 14:1-3 states "Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God. In My Father's house, there are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive to to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also." Where are you going?

I don't believe in Santa. I believe in the one true, living God and His son, Jesus Christ.

So you think the government wants us to go to church? How do you know that there is no God? You have proof? Just as I don't have proof that there is a God, you can prove otherwise. How is God getting in the way of news laws and beliefs? Your sentence
"like santa, we need to accept the fact that there is no man watching your every move making sure you behave. cept for the gov..."- is wrong. You have proof of this so called fact? You can not say that it is a fact that there is no God without proof, otherwise it is not a fact- it is your belief.

Santa Clause is in accordance with a legend. So is Halloween which persons celebrate to on the present time. Christmas supplies, Christmas enjoying cards have in basic terms recently come into the occasion of Christs start. so which you're suggesting that folk can no longer tell the version between God and Santa Clause. That tells us in basic terms how your immature and ignorant thoughts works.

They are similar but the consequences differ. A present vs eternity in perfection; or a lump of coal vs. a lake of fire...guess the concept of Santa is easier to 'let go' plus, you only have to wait a year to discover there's no coal but some presents...and like life, some you want and/or like and others you don't
I don't think the gov't has the power that's attributed to God but, like in the past, the founding fathers, I'm sure there are some who would say/do anything to become more powerful

Dearest little child, you have the concept all wrong. God never tells us to be good and we can go to heaven. We just have to believe. But if you want to believe in Santa or the Easter bunny or the Tooth fairy, you go right ahead. Believing in God doesn't make anything easier. People die for their belief in Jesus Christ. So that doesn't make their life easier, does it? People die just to own a Bible. There are countries today that will put you in prison if you have a video in your own home about Jesus. But I don't know, does Santa ever set someones house on fire if they have a Bible. Does the tooth fairy pour acid on your face, when you tell her about Christ. A preacher in Russia made the news last year, when he passed out Bibles and food. He was poisoned, but survived. (His face & mouth, is ruined for life) He was a missionary, but he had to leave because the country of Russia told him to. He fed orphans, and had a church, where he preached the word of God. They let Santa stay, but he, the bad Christian, had to leave.

well, i think u're totally wrong. as a matter of fact, i KNOW u're wrong. your parents tell u one day or another that they're santa n the "real" santa w/the red suit and everything like that does not exist. with God, my parents didnt tell me He stays up in the clouds and watches everybody. They explained to me who He is and the things he can and will do. if God didnt exist, how did anything come imto being? and dont say the "big bang" theory or evolution, because even if those things did occur, Who and What allowed those things to happen? And so on and so forth. So how about u run into a problem and pray to GOD and see what comes out of it. bet u'll be surprised to see how He shows himself to you. and i can say i do believe in God because He has shown himself to me many different times in my life.

while belief is certainly important, what you beleive in is just as important, yes! Not knowing which to keep close to your heart is confusing to 70% of the world right now! Certainly the greatest thing to believe in and keep close is TRUTH. Why? It separates out the chaos which just keeps on being confusing. without chaos am free to see real beauty in this world. I don't have to participate in the chaos anymore! I do not have to be choked by the greed of chaos any longer! Foolish thinking will not cloud my mind or take up my time any mor because am FREE!

your very right, but Santa's stories are about good things he did the bible which is the story book for god tells horrible stories about a god that causes a flood and drowns everyone, rapes a guys wife, lies to them, kills first born innocent babies. Santa is much better than a god, and poor Satan his best angel he just tries to teach Adam and eve and never killed anyone and he's the one your supposed to watch out for

Yup, I agree. By the time you are old enough to know that Santa doesn't exist, you should be smart enough to figure out that god doesn't either.
