Millions of people would love to have the opportunity that only a couple hundred professional have to get paid huge amounts of money to golf. Wiht such intense competition, minimum requirements are that you have to:
1) be born with exceptional hand-eye co-ordination, timing and natural skill;
2) have the time and the resources to devote your full time to practice; and
3) be extremely lucky.
Good luck!

If you have to ask chances are you don't have enough talent, money or time to make a living at Golf. Golf is one of the toughest of all sports even tougher than baseball. Ted Williams claimed Baseball was tougher. But he was a great ball player and only a reasonable golfer so apparently he didn't believe himself.

You probably need to live out on the West Coast where you can play year round. I think playing golf becomes your job.
