Don't go for the cucumber/banana trick. Could completely backfire on you then you'd be in a mess! It's all in the eye contact. Human strangers only glance at each other. Any look that lasts longer than a milli-second can mean you're in. Just look at her and smile - see what the reaction is. If it's favourable then do it next time. (You may need to run out of several items and HAVE to go to the supermarket a few times). The third time you should have established a slight rapport and maybe take it further and say hello. From there you're on your own. Good luck.

You have to talk to her. That's how she knows your interested. Then ask her if she's seeing anyone. If her answer is no then you make your move. I had a guy ask me out when I worked at the grocery store too. It's really sweet. See if a guy fancies you when you're working at a grocery store then he's really paying attention. You can easily be overlooked in those places.

Well, I'm thinking that presenting veggies probably won't do it. How about waiting to see when she picks up some product, and asking her if she's bought it before 'cause you were thinking of trying it too? Just need to make sure it's something that you would typically buy (if you know what I mean!).

Good luck!

Do not do the basket thing. That's creepy. Just say hello. If you see something in her hand, ask her opinion of it. Like "How do you like that pizza brand?" Then move onto introducing yourself and invite her out. Say "I hope you don't think I'm being too forward" Good luck

talk to her when it is a bit quiet, ask her would she like to join you and some friends for a drink / go to a club/ or whatever . Be prepared for whatever answer you get. have something in the basket but do not be rude.

I agree its all in the glance and body language, if you dont feel she is responding then give up, if she does(and you will know) then approach her, look in her basket, and ask about an item she is buying or if she works there take an item up to her and ask if she would recomend it. if she responds with a chatty smile go for it!!

Try walking up to her next time and saying excuse me, hi my name is __, and Ive been seeing you around here for a while now and I was wondering if you would like to go to dinner with me sometime. Works like a charm. Dont bring in any vegetables with you while you approach her. lol.

If you handed her a cucumber or banana that would be rude...Just ask her if she is available or with someone. if she is not, then ask her out for coffee. Make is simple..
