It would be in your best interest and that of your daughters to take her to a childrens hospital and let them look at her. They are better inclined to find the answers to the problem you are having.
As a mother, I wouldnt take a chance that its nothing like the doctor said. I would be doing my best to find out what it isnt and not just what it is. There could be other things that the doctor you took her too has no clue about when it comes to children and infections or diseases. Not all pediatricians know everything, that is why there are specialists out there.
PLEASE take her to a childrens hospital to have her looked at. It could save you a lot of stress and if something really serious is wrong then you havent wasted precious early detection time.

Did she get into any poison oak? Or around any kind of chemical that she may be having a reaction from? Allergies? Have you given her any new foods lately that she may be having an allergic reaction to? Not sure exactly what to tell you. I myself have a 3 year old little girl. If they didn't bother her before but now they itch you may want to just call the doctor first and explain that she itches now and ask if you should bring her back in for a re-check. This way you may be able to get free advice over the phone and not have to spend the money to see the doctor again. Goodluck hun.

umm...if it looks like a rash, go back and get a second opinion. In the mean time, get some lotion from the chemist that has hydrocortozone in it (i may have spelled that wrong). It should help with the itching 'til you can get back to the doctor.

Sounds like Hives to me. My children have had them, and yes they do itch a lot. If the doctor said not to worry, then dont, but if you are then its not wrong to get a second opinion.

It depends - if they are quite small, it could be hives, this is an allergic reaction which is quite harmless. However if you are worried, and it sounds like your doctor hasn't really told you anything useful about what they are, take her back, or get a 2nd opinion.

I would. It definitely couldn't hurt. If you still don't feel satisfied with what her doctor says, you can always take her to another pediatrician for a second opinion. Good luck.

Yes take her back - it might be chickenpox. Perhaps try to see a different doctor for a second opinion.

Are they little bumps, kinda like a dry rash? If so, it's pretty common and the best thing you can do is put lots of rich lotion on her arms. If not, then I have no answers.
