My chocolate chip cookies that I am asked to make for every gathering I have to attend. The recipe is slightly modified from the old, beat-up orange Betty Crocker cookbook from the 70s. I can bake 70 at a time and I always make double batches so I will not have to hear any complaints about there not being enough cookies to go around.

Well, I do love the girl scouts' thin mints and samoas but I think my favorite cookies are my mom's homemade chocolate chip and walnut cookies. Yum! ^.^
