You need to remember that most perfumes react with your personal body chemistry and react differently with every person. My suggestion would be to get together with a close friend or family member trying to find a fragrance that works for you and your chemistry. Then try a few out when out and about in public and watch the reactions that people have (guys will ,unknown to them, take deeper breathes when you are around trying to find the fragrance that you are wearing if they like it).

I think it's not the perfume itself that would be the issue it's the amount you put on... whatever you think would smell good am sure will be good enough for the guy but if you put too much of it then sometimes it ruins the mood.

Most guys don't prefer things that are too fruity. You may have to spend a little more, but I think you should go with some classic brand fragrances like estee lauder, clinique, calvin klein, etc.

All i care about is if they smell good and clean, i don't really pay attention to the particular scent or brand, much less know what they are even called.

its hard to say, anything kind of fruity is nice, but every guy will be different. The best is when you find a guy who will care about you and when he smells that fragrance he will be reminded of you.

I'm guessing you only got two answers because 1) guys don't buy or know perfumes very well and/or 2) we don't care about perfume as long as you don't wear too much.
I'm guessing both.

forget the vanilla and citrus (they just smell like food). I used to love CK1. Now I like subtle florals. Stay away from patchouli. yuck

I like a girl that smells like fruit. Vanilla isn't old its eye catching. But if you smell like fruit then it will most likely catch our attentions because we will want to eat and we can't pass up a beautiful woman that smells so good.

I'm not shure if there is a certain fragrance, just nothing too strong to where they smell worse than their normal self.
