I notice the xtian answers are quick to defend their own, yet if it were a non-believer or, let's say, a homosexual, then I doubt very much you'd be hearing all this crap about "aww, they're only human"...
Bunch of hypocrites!

EVERYONE SHOULD BE KIND AND LOVING...It doesn't matter what you call yourself. We all make errors in our behavior because we are human beings. You pray for strength to do the right thing and treat people well. You pray for assistance from above for help with your life and direction. The Lord is there for us, He doesn't care what Church you go to. Live by the ten commandments, that's what He wants you to do.
I cannot imagine Churches saying other Churches are "evil". Perhaps not agree with their beliefs, but not evil.
Talk to the Lord as you would a friend. He will understand.

Not all Christians are like that. Unfortunately as with any other "group" of people, you will find that in churches also. No one church is the best church.... No one single religion is the best religion, people have the right to believe what they want, and sometimes christians who act in such a manner are the one's who really need to do some soul searching. I am a christian, and I have encountered this same exact thing in my own church..... I look at it this way, I am who I am, take it or leave it. I will go out of my way to help anyone I can, and I will be the one who receives the ultimate reward in the end..... Those who claim to be christians and act that way are the one's that we need to pray for the most!!!!!!

The reason they say that, and its not right at all, is that Christian churches are always infiltrated by bad people, like Satanic church type people.
The devil puts his followers everywhere. And Christians should be aware of that.
With that being said, alot of Christians commit sins with their words. And I don't know why they don't realize that. The tongue is the hardest thing to tame sometimes, but it can be done....
And with that being said, part of Christianity is realizing that everyone sins, including yourself. So don't go expecting all Christians to always be loving and kind. They are human, and sometimes humans get frustrated, mean, or angry. No matter what their beliefs.

You would have to find out for yourself but believe me there's a true religion. Just don't expect to find perfection between men because then you'll end up alone! Go and see who's the closest to apply Jesus ow words at John 13:34; in short says that true Christians do love each other. That means no matter what eh?
Happy Search!

Theoretically, yet. But, just like non-Christian human beings, Christian human beings are exactly that- human, with all the failings, weaknesses, and imperfections that go with that particular condition.
We all like to be right, especially in something as important as salvation! We want to be sure we have the way to heaven, and since the plethora (I love that word!) of Christian denominations can't agree, then we're each really hoping that our own variety of Christianity has the answer right...
As open-minded as I like to think I am, there are other Christians that I don't agree with, don't understand, that I think should behave differently.... But, like I just said, I try to be open minded enough so that we can still be friends, at least.
So stop bashing us just because we're still human!
I know of some (not all, but some) atheists, agnostics, etc that think they're oh-so high and mighty, just because they don't lean on the "crutch" of religion, they're "independant thinkers"... and increadibly arrogant and rude... and demeaning... yeah... Don't be quite so quick to judge, please. As they say, you can't throw mud w/o getting some on yourself.

It's a nasty part of human nature. My grandmother use to tell me that you will never believe 100% the same as any one person. There will always be questions and concerns so just try to find the one that you most agree with and ignore those that treat you or others in an unchristian like manner (or smack them really hard)
Best of luck to you.

I dare you to go to ten different Christian churches, try different denominations while you're at it, and ask them which church is the right one. I highly doubt they are going to say "our church is the right one." I personally think it's hilarious how you are being judgemental and not open minded. You must not be a Christian because your not being very "loving and kind." Give me a break.

Yep...christians should be kind. If they are really saying that other churches are evil, then that's seriously wrong. But if they strongly encourage you to join thier church whithout the the slandering, then it's probably a sense of loyalty to their church.
also, some churches do preach things that aren't right and not according to the bible. All in all..it's up to you what church you go to..and who cares what anyone else says?

Unfortunately Christians, just as everyone else, are susceptible to human nature in all its atrocities. The main difference however is that a christian will try to justify bad and poor actions because the "believe" they are right (actually any one of faith is like this). The inquisition and crusades are perfect examples of this.
