Contact your county courthouse and they will give you all of the information you will need to get married at City Hall. The basic information you may have to ask about (in case you get stuck with someone new) is license requirements, duration of waiting period before you can pick up the license after applying, days the ceremony is performed and total fees required.

Good luck!

I got married in court on 8/11. We needed the license which cost $30 and the service itself was $10. Copies of the license afterward were $10+$2 for each additional. Congrats and goodluck!

Don't understand your question? Are you saying what is needed to get married by the court? It is different from state to state. Or, are you saying what is needed to prove you are married by the court? That would be a marriage license.

you need your social security card and drivers license if you don't have the correct address on your license a utility bill will due.The cost for a marriage license is around $45.You must bring whoever your getting married to with you or they will not give you a license. You can usually make an appointment with the judge right at the court house.Sometimes judges do weddings for free and just ask for a donation from you.Just a word of warning most judges won't do weddings on weekends

birth certificate, social security card, drivers license.

google "how to obtain marriage license in ___" add your state there. make sure you know which county you live in because you'll need to go to the court house nearest you.

there will be a fee of anywhere from 40 to 70 dollars, it varies from place to place. a judge will sign it then you'll be considered married by law!

best of luck to you.

Visit your local county website and look under "marriage license". It should give you all the details of their hours, what you will need, when you will be able to get married, if you have to take any classes, physical exams, blood tests, the costs, etc.

Good luck!
