Fall "really" doesn't start until September 21. Pick a shade of blue that you love (whether it's the tiffany, sky, navy or perriwinkle) and let your guests celebrate the end of summer at the begining of your life together!

August is summer time, so i'd not bypass with darker colorings as darker colorings are for iciness. of direction the marriage gown might want to be white...yet to characteristic a contact of colour per chance accent with peach or teal (both being summer time colorings)...then you may tournament up your brides maids attire in that colour and the entire colour subject of the marriage in those colorings besides. Peach and Teal bypass so a lot more desirable helpful than colorings like yellow.

I understand, my fiancee wanted blue as well. We decided to have an evening wedding and I told him I thought it would but elegant if we did simple black and white with splashes of color, we are both happy with that. You could do a shimmering navy for a nighttime affair or a lighter baby blue for an afternoon wedding. If nothing else, maybe you could figure out something that would work for both of you!
Good luck with planning!

Shades of teal and "peacock blues" are nice. What about an icy blue? Kinda wintery, but might give an August wedding a cooler feeling.

The best thing to do is take the fabric sample that you have and visit a few fabric stores to hold it up to the different colors and see which ones blends in best.
When you have the right combination you will know.

Tiffanny blue or baby blue. It's gorgeous mixed with white and even gold.
Congratulations and good luck

Go greenish blue, like aqua, turquoise, etc.
Why does he have final say on the color anyway?
