I have a one year old son who drinks out of a sippie cup. My dog will go to it and try to drink out of it. It started about a week ago and she was bred about three weeks ago. What does it mean?

could mean nothing. the dog could smell the milk and just want some. my dog is 3 and when I have a cup from fast food she tries to drink from the straw.lol

Well, the dog is trying to take something that belongs to your son. That's not good manners. If you let her get away with this, she will keep escalating and behaving badly. Don't put up with it, don't let her do it, tell her No very firmly and whack her bum if you have to.
Do not give dogs or cats cow's milk. Cow's milk is designed for baby cows and is not suited to any other animal. Buy her a dog milk if you must, or whatever it is you give puppies, but not cow's milk.

It's probably best not to feed animals Milk that we drink... Mostly because it's altered from the natural cow Milk. But it's also because cats and dogs should just drink their own kind of milk.

probably nothing. maybe your dog thinks your son is a dog as well or at least on an equal level to humans as he or she tries to drink from the same cup as your son. most dogs are lactose intolerant anyway so try to resist the tempation of giving in regardless how cute it looks.

Dogs like milk but be careful because that's not good for them. Anyway you can give him/him yogurt for example, because it is a product with fermented milk.

if she is trying to get milk out of the cup then she thinks she needs milk, give her some. or try cottage cheese. and also some poached eggs she needs the extra protein.

Did she breed or was she born three weeks ago, because if she was born three weaks ago, yeah she's going to want milk.

My dogs love milk. We put it on their food sometimes.Skim milk of course.

It just means she likes milk. My dog loves milk (but we don't give her any, because she has allergies).
She may also be slipping up on her obedience training.
