Okay, this guy and I are very good friends online. He's taken, I'm not, and this is not a date or an attempt to take him away, I am just stopping by a park tomorrow where his band is playing to meet him (he knows I'm coming) and hear the show, m-a-y-b-e go for coffee afterwards. But I would like to make a good impression, as he works in clothing retail in his other job, and it may be the only time we meet, or only time for quite a while.
I am pretty but quite a bit overweight in the belly and thighs. What shall I wear?:
Matching medium-tones green and blue flowered blouse and skirt to ankles that I've had many compliments on?
Same blouse, knee length denim skirt?
Lighter blue print top that really sets off my blue eyes, one of my best features? Either of those tops and a navy cotton knee length skirt?
Please let me know which to wear. Guys' and girls' comments welcome. And, being that this is in a park -- flat sandals? Wedge heels? THANKS FOR THE HELP!! Can't wait to meet him!

I would go with the flowered blouse with the denim skirt and flat sandals, this way you look like you belong in the park but cute at the same time. If you wear the other stuff it might look out of place. Have Fun!

My reason for this is because you say you have had many compliments, I dont know about the rest of the world but I dont tell someone that they look good in something unless I mean it and Im not one to hand out compliments anyway. Also go with the flat sandals, if you do with the wedge heels you may fall down or something stupid and geez wouldnt that be embarassing?

I think the best thing you can do is to STOP AGONIZING OVER WHAT TO WEAR. I'm not trying to be mean, but given that he's taken, it doesn't make sense for you to spend all of your energy planning your outfit for a casual meeting. He'll pick up some kind of weird vibe if he senses you dragged your Sunday best out of the closet just to meet him. It might make him uncomfortable.
Don't go the skirt-and-blouse route if that's not normally what you'd wear. Be yourself, for heaven's sake!
Men are a far more intrigued by a self-possessed woman than one who yearns for their approval.

If your on the bigger side I would think a plain colored top would look better than a print or flowered one. I like the light blue though, especially if it sets off your eyes. the navy cotton skirt sounds nice too with flat sandals. You'll look adorable. Good Luck

if hes taken dont dress to impress sends the wrong message and if hes really uer friend then he will like u no matter what. dress how u want to id say something casual jeans and nice shirt and maybe some wedge espadrilles

I'm guessing that if you are putting way to much thought into what you wear, your intentions are not totally on the up and up. Seriously...regardless of where he works or what he does...unless you are trying to impress him and make yourself more attractive to him, don't put too much time and energy into stressing about what you are going to wear. You're supposedly meeting him as friends...unless it means public embarassment, friends aren't going to care what friends wear.

be sure that the print interior the shirt is small, you do no longer choose enormous prints, they make you look bigger. i will pass with the lighter blue print authentic, a pair of rather staggering setting up denims and flat sandals. keep it casual. in spite of my suggestion, the main mandatory ingredient is which you place on something which will assure which you would be soft. keep in mind, it rather is not the gown, it rather is the hanger! And please please do no longer make use and abuse of the make up! much less is greater clever, a staggering pinkish lip gloss sounds adequate to me
