Girls here seem to freak out at the thought of seeing a male family member naked. Live in the same house with someone and its bound to happen. And if theres nothing sexual its not even an issue really. If someone slips in the bathtub and gets hurt and theres no same sex relatives there to help what are u gonna do? Let em lay there? My sister and adult stepdaughter have both seen me and neither are scarred for life over it. Ive seen my sister..not my stepdaugter (omg the wife would kill me)

Im not saying prance around in the nude. Stepdaughter walked in the bathroom on me b.c she doesnt know how to knock and sis caught me skinny dipping and herself said she didnt see anything wrong with it at all. Only time i saw my sister completely naked is when she was drunk out of her mind at a party and pulled off her bathing suit. **** happens.

good point. some people now days seem to be on a witch hunt or any little thing they don't "think" is right in their eyes. my goodness, now families are being targeted by these psychotic creeps. you can tell they either didn't grow up in a big family or are spoiled rotten. lay off you psycos. take your witch hunt somewhere else.

My husband scolds our sons when they walk around without a shirt on- on a hot, hot day. To me- no shirt is no big deal...but I wouldn't want them to walk around fully naked either. We all see each other naked now and then...like when stepping out of the shower. ...but we don't walk around naked- no. I don't want my kids to think that their bodies are disgusting to look at...when a friend of my older son was in our house and made a disgusted comment about my 4 year old being without pants, because he was looking for a new one and couldn't find any...I told the boy that the little one can walk around in our house any way he wants, because that's what makes a home a home....I added that if he is offended by a 4 year old not wearing pants for a minute or two, then he should stay outside.
In simple words: I agree with you....but: if someone in the family does feel offended by the sight (I think this happens when the kids reach a certain age)...then consideration is a must. My kids are only 9 & 4.

There is no problem getting nude in your home,im 17 and have 2 sister slightly younger than me,they sleep nude, and after shower walk butt naked thru the house, same with me,and when we go holidays 3 of us get naked in the spa etc and pool,i am guilty of peaking, its hard not too they are both bald as badgers but there isnt anything sexual im sure curioosity lets them look too,its about being confident, but thats all, in the family is ok,be comfortable nude in front of them, enjoy each others bodies.Awkwardness is in the minds of those who dont feel comfortable, men know what women look like already and women too know about men,so whats the deal.Get naked with your family be proud of what you all have.

Well gee not all of us are comfortable with being nude like some people. Frankly its plain embarrassing and uncomfortable once you've seen a family member naked no matter how close or how long you've lived together. It makes you self conscious everytime you see or pass by that person to know that they saw you naked. It has nothing to do with looking at someone sexually, but it has a lot to do with privacy. Seeing someone naked is seeing them without all the so called pretentions and not without clothes alone. It leaves a person a bit vulnerable. If you can't understand that I'm sorry.

It doesn't happen just because you live in the same house with other people. We live in a company house with 2 other guys my man works with...should I just not worry about and say oh well. I know I wouldn't want to see them naked. Of course if there is an accident or something you have to help them but that doesn't happen everyday. This is just one of those subjects that people have different opinions about. I have a niece that ran around in her bra all the time, apparently she didn't care who saw what. Some people do.

Well, I think it's probably just more of a modest-type thing. I have a husband a three sons, and the boys are getting older. I didn't used to care if they came in the bathroom when I was in the bathtub, etc., but now I must admit none of us, excluding my husband, appreciate being walked in on. Bra & undies, okay, but not naked.

Western attitudes in direction of nudity are all at the same time unusual in case you inquire from me and that i became raised with them. Frankly, i imagine that lack of regularly happening organic nudity inclusive of replacing, bathing, seeing women persons nurse and so on. contributes to the comprehensive sexularization of any deepest element of the body at the same time as he reality is that nudity and sexuality are literally not one and an same aspect. i comprehend of no more desirable organic aspect than a woman nursing her baby, that is a loving and universal function and at the same time as a baby is a outcome of sexual sex brazenly nursing isn't. publicity fo the breasts in this variety of putting is really healthful for the mum, the youngster, and albeit for all those who sees it noticeably siblings in the domicile. It reinforces messages about motherhood and demystifies the female breast. that is shame that the basically publicity too many adult males get to bare breasts is solely in a sexual context. In households no attempt should be made to stay away from universal nakedness nor might want to or not it really is flaunted yet dealt with basically as a actuality of existence. i imagine you're surely perfect to allow your baby to make certain you unclad between the healthiest issues ever to take position to me as an adolescent became publicity to summer time abroad the position nakedness became the predicted universal at the same time as swimming or sunning. once you youngster pals of both sexes are thoroughly bare you learn quick that adult adult males and women persons are basically diverse and that the sexual factors are wonderful yet also thoroughly universal and also you concentration ameliorations from externals - wow seem at her in that bikini, to getting to carry close the different individual's concepts.

OK, men do not have any emotional problems with looking at nude female bodies.

Women have a BIG problem with looking at nude male bodies. They find the situation to be threatening and uncomfortable.

Because we are wired different. So stop putting females into an awkard situation. Keep your clothes on.
