I was raised in a family with a ton of different religions and different sects. From Buddhism, Catholocism, Baptists, Muslim, Juddahism, Wiccan, etc. Oh yeah my great gradparent were cherokee and so were considered pagan. So you can imagine I have had a really hard time deciding who is right/wrong. I have spent a lot of time studying religions. I think everyone thinks that theirs is the right one etc. Here are my conclusions and what I believe. After studying the dead sea scrolls, I came to the conclusion that the bible can only be read for "lessons" but not as fact. There is a God or Creator. There are angels and we also have guardian angels and people from past lives who help us.
We are all re-incarnated. Including Jesus (as Adam, Elijah, Moses, (the first Buddha and many others) We should respect all teachings of God not just that of the Bible etc. This includes current writings. Hell is more of a state of mind. Not permanant.

Think about the logic of why children suffer (ie babies burning to death child abuse etc) Reincarnation is a perfect conclusion. You enter into your next life as punishment for the previous. You continue to reincarnate until you reach enlightenment or soul perfection. THEN you can go to heaven and be with God.
As far as believing in Jesus to get to Heaven.... I think it should be you should believe that you should strive to BE like Jesus.

I didn't mean to leave out Mohammed and Allah. I think God and Allah are one and the same. Since I don't believe in a Messiah I think that Mohammed was just like Jesus and Buddha... A messenger of God. But remember all messengers of God are Men. And the writers of the Bible etc were men.
Wicca (true wiccans) and pagans also fit into my beliefs somewhat. I believe that if you believe in something hard enough you can make it true (prayer, spells, etc) and that if we don't learn to treat this earth with respect we will all be in living hell.

I follow a Celtic Reconstructionist (neo-pagan) path.
I worship some of the deities that were once worshiped in Celtic-speaking areas during the Iron Age. I am a polytheist and some of my deities are Taranis, Lugh and Epona. Two important tenets of my religion are honor and hospitality (there are more). My religion is offeratory in nature and it provides the structure and methods for me to deepen my relationships with my deities. I believe that deities have both positive and negative traits just like anyone else. I do not believe that any deity is all-knowing or all-powerful. I also believe in land and water spirits/deities. I believe in reincarnation and give daily offerings of incense, food and drink at my family altar. I honor my ancestors. I believe in the symbology of a world tree representing the lower (sea), middle (land), and upper (sky) realms. After death, I believe that I will go to the Otherworld to feast before reincarnating again to learn more. I celebrate four agricultural holidays a year---Samhain, Imbolc, Bealtainne, and Lughnasadh. Although I recognize the solstices and equinoxes, I do not celebrate them as religious holidays.
Through study and inspiration we learn about how the ancient Celts viewed their world and their deities. We try to bring forth the elements that are compatible with today's society (elements like human sacrifice and seeing women as second-class citizens can be left in the past). We do not believe that there is only one "correct" way to give honor to our deities.

i believe that if you live your life to the fullest. and you are happy, then why do you have to follow any religion. i joked around with my mother when i was pregnant and told her that i was going to have an abortion, which i didn't, but she went ahead and threw out some bible verses and said that catholics don't belive in that and as fired up as i get when my mother tries to go religion on me, she really pissed me off, so i told her that it was none of her business and she recited a couple hail mary's for me. what if i was pro choice, or catholic gone athiest, what would it matter as long as i was happy and ejoying life and being kind to others. religion has nothing to do with that.

Not totally sure if I agree with you on this one...there is a huge difference between faith and religion. I have faith, where I think there is a God, and not religion where people are forced into beliefs and scripture...faith is much easier to deal with.

if it rather is the case I could be a God too, considering that he talks to me too. God talks to the guts of his human beings. yet he does use an audible voice at circumstances, he did with me two times. as quickly as he advised me to stand up, and as quickly as he called me a bar fly. i replaced into praying and asking God the place do I initiate so some distance as being a Christian, and he advised me to stand up being i replaced into laying with a guy over two times my age who wasn't my husband. Then this different time I were praying and asking God to coach me what i sound like via fact I used to curse plenty. i replaced into status there cursing approximately some thing and it replaced into like he tapped me on the shoulder, cleared his throat and whispered "barfly". outstanding how God has his procedures of having via to those that choose to be gotten via to. The barfly ingredient replaced into exceedingly humorous too, yet I gotta say i do no longer curse practically as plenty now.

They are all fabricated by man out of superstition. It's a way to give the illusion of control over that which is uncontrollable.
