Make sure you don't have a CD in. That's happened to me when I tried to start the computer with a program CD in the drive.

I agree with the first response. You are getting this message, because the computer thinks you have a boot disk in one of your drives. Because it doesn't recognize it as a boot disk, it says "No Disk in Drive".
(Check the CD rack on a new computer. Check both the CD rack and floopy drives if you have an older one.)

That message happens when you dont quit an application and you eject the disk from a CD / DVD drive. Put a CD back in, and let it load itself, then quit the application properly, eject CD or DVD, restart computer and the message should be no more.

it means that there is no disk in the drive and once your computer is starting up it automatically tries to open the disk in the d drive, basically you need a professional to come fix it or take it away and fix it but its only a minor thing really nothing major so not much point unless it gets worse and does it while you are on the computer a while, then get it fixed!!

Your BIOS screen has been setup to check a disk drive first for the operating system. You must select the hard drive first, then this message will disappear .

Your computer's bios might be set to boot to a cd or floppy drive. Just go into your bios and change it to your hard drive

It means that your boot sequence is probably set incorrectly. Go into your bios and make sure that your boot sequence lists the hard drive before any replaceable media.

Your bios setting is set to read from your floppy drive first, if there is no disk in there, it will say that.
