Well that can be a tough one. Yes, they are good to have to fill the void on what relationship each of you just got out of. However, they can be very dangerous. Speaking from experience an old friend of mine and I tried it and it was great don't get me wrong. But then he wanted more and I started to like this other guy. It got very messy and he ended up getting hurt which in turn hurt me because we lost our friendship. So, just be careful and make sure you are both on the same page. The minute you're not or someone else enters the picture than things will get ugly.

Hmmmm well right now I have a "friends with benefits" reltionship..Only thing is they do get attached..Although the purpose of the relationship is to go out and have sex with no strings attached. It only works well if both parties agree to that...if not then there is a problem. So me personally I dont think that its something that anyone can benefit from. I dont know if u guys are being exclusive with these benefits or not. But in the long run someone gets hurt...So be careful with "benefits" they dont always go the way they are supposed to.

personally, before i got married.. i had a friend, buddy, whatever you wanna call it.. and we did just that.. we had an open relationship but later on down the road.. to this day we still lean for that when we are hittin rock bottom and its not a healthy thing esp when you face problems in the future and you can't have that anymore.. so my answer for that would be no it didn't work for me...

I like it but usually one person might start to have feelings. Nothing in this world comes without any problems but I have to say I like it. I will usually have to stop talking to them from time to time because they start getting a little possessive though.

It's risky because someone may eventually want more than a FTF relationship and then, inevitably, feelings will be hurt.

Well, it can be good if you can keep the emotions out of it, or else you are bound for trouble. But they can be good relationships to have, you just have to keep the boundries clear.

Those are the best, if you keep an open and honest relationship. No drama, no control and you still get to have the best part....s*x!
