I am moving in a couple of weeks to a new apartment. What do I need for a good bachelor pad. Any tips are greatly appreciated.

If you plan to bring women to your place, for the love of God, do not have that overstuffed leather furniture bachelors always buy. If you must have leather, buy a modern, streamline style...and not in black. A nice espresso color is soothing. To score more points, buy a sofa covered in that new ultrasuede fabric. It's very easy to take care of (when you spill something on it...and you will).
Also, buy large floor pillows and keep them in the corner with a throw draped casually over it.

Have 3 bowls on the coffee table... one with candy, one with dice (it's a great conversation piece) and one with condoms of every size and color. Also buy several sets of unsual coasters and have them scattered around the place...it will save you headaches later on, as beer cans and wine glasses can really ruin furniture.

Good luck...may the force be with you

Modern masculine furnishings, leather seating, nice bedding, candles, don't miss the small details and look at some decorating magazines or peruse thru a home decorating store like pier 1 or pottery barn for ideas.

Beer on tap, chips, and some lawn chairs in front of that big screen TV and your ready for football season.
