The only thing they will be able to do is ask you to have "faith"
I would tell you to do your research (I've included some links below to help you) and make your own decision.
I'm speaking as someone who took a year long journey down the road from christian to atheist and I am much, much happier for it. The links below link to other resources and articles that will help you find your path
Good Luck

First off, science never proved that there was no God. You should believe what you want to believe in. Its called faith. You have faith that God exists. You don't have hard evidence. You do, on the other hand, have scientific proof that gravity exists, that wehave an atmoshpere, and that we are all carbon based organisms. Either you have faith that there is a higher power or you don't. And there are plenty of bible pounding nuts that will tell you alot of things, but it comes down to what you believe in. People can show you evidence on both sides, and the scientific side has the more compelling argument because they have hard evidence. All God has on his side is the holy books that have been passed down through the years. I had a struggle with faith too, but I ended up coming around and believing again. If you just look around at the wonderful things that life offers, you'll see that there has to be a God.

Wow you are very tender in your faith.. In the first place there is no proof of spontaneous generation of life. Think about it. a puddle of water with just the right minerals and proteins (where ever they came from) is struck my lightening. Life springs into existence. It survives on sunlight and water because there aren't any biologic agents anywhere yet because nothing has ever lived before. This life began to mutate and multiply till it becomes a higher organism.. If you can believe that but reject that God made it all then you have more faith than I could ever muster. Do plants and animals adapt YES but change species NO... Ok that's is the view of creation they would have you believe. I then throw some evidence behind the idea of holding faith.
Look at Psalm 22:14-18
I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.
My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.
For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.
I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me.
They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.
Written by King David some 900 years before Jesus. Crucifixion had not even been considered as a method of execution. And how would David have known that the Romans would throw dice to see who got to keep Jesus' coat?
Is any of this proof, NO but it is reason for faith.. I hope you see that this is God's way and you will what to follow Him...Jim

Science proves there is a God. Go on line and look at the displays of various stars. We do not really know where we are in the universe, but I am glad someone does.
Creation proves his existence. If that isn't enough for you, you should ask God to open your heart and mind to Him, and to realize his truth in creation and life and the Bible. Your life depends on it. Best wishes, Tina

The original belief in the bible is real. Because a few self serving ministers corrupted it doesn't make it not real.
Can't you see Satan's hand in this? He wants to distort the plain simple truth of the bible so people will turn away from it.
God put Adam and Eve in the garden and they were to fill the earth with there offspring. After probably billions of years of getting the planet ready for people. Just because Adam and Eve sinned would that ruin God's purpose for the earth? Never!
He doesn't depend on humans to carry out his work.
By waiting for 6000 years enough people has been born to not only fill the earrh but produce enough good people to fill the earth.
Those who are wicked like Adam God said will return to dust.
For that is what he made them from.
Those who would be meek, [non-violent] will be resurrected to live forever on the earth and make it into a paradise.
Like he planned in the beginning. Could man ruin God's plan?
Never, it just took a little longer than expected. But when you live forever whats a few thousand years.

YOU MORONS... Science prooved that God exists.. Read some science proofs....
And for you my friend if you don't want to believe in GOD that's fine... You have a bible as you have a physics book to see what is real or not.. Jesus gave you free will
And since the world today has so many issues, crying about insignificant things, can't understand how to solve an everyday problem, thinking of how to cheat others to feed their own ego... of course they'll tell you God doesn't exist or Jesus is a crazy man or a prophet... Uneducated people claim these stuff.. People with no hope claim these stuff.. People who want to be different claim these stuff.. People who lose hope claim these stuff.. People who cannot comprehend the Bible claim these stuff..
Every human being sees and believes in what suits him nowadays.. They all go with the crowd
By the way... The two people above me are correct

Science hasn't proven there is no God... but I'm afraid you will have to decide this one on your own. Personally, I *do* believe in God, but I have nothing beyond my own conviction to back that up. I believe holy books were written by people so they can't be definitive sources, but if you look to your own heart, you will know if you believe there is a God or not. And if you do, it may not be the God of Christianity or Judaism or Islam... it may be more than one God or Goddess. It may be a great spirit or the collective consciousness of all creation. No one can answer this for you, but seeking the Deity is wonderful too!

My advice is to think for yourself instead of what listening to other people tell you. There are extremely passionate people on both sides of this issue, and being swayed by what they said only means that you don't believe in anything, rather you're just following them.
If you believe in God just because someone tells you to, you won't have strong faith and will face this again.
If you don't believe in God for the same reason, you might be missing out on something that could be a source of strength for you.
You control your own destiny... you have to figure out for yourself what you believe.

***my beliefs on god are deteriorating? ***
You are joking ,right ?
*** and how science has proved that there is no God.***
Please provide additional information about this proof, thanks.
*** Also, reading on here I've seen people saying how the bible and all of that is mythical. Can someone please give me a couple reasons to keep believing in God, and another reason as to why God IS real.*****
So what if it is mythical, that does not keep it from being good reading.
I wish i had verifiable proof for myself that any Gods exists.

First of all science has not proved their is no God evolution is a theory and nothing more even though it is taught as fact .secondly how can the Bible be mythical when historians use it as a history book because the times dates and events are so accurate after such a long time.thirdly when my little brother was born he had no heartbeat he was not breathing nothing yet he is coming up on his
3rd birthday ALIVE .Explain that with science.
Try talking with your pastor or another believer who can give veiws from another perspective.
please just hang in there and don't let the enemy lie to you
God bless you and keep you strong.

First, science doesn't prove God doesn't exist. Evolution is an atheistic belief system. It can't account for the rise of life, because life doesn't arise from non-life as Louis Pasteur proved over a century ago. Complexity does not arise out of chaos as evolution would espouse, it violates the Laws of Thermodynamics, in particular the the second law. Even in an open system entropy actually increases as more energy is introduced. Defending the Bible, is a very long project, may I recommend, Josh McDowell's two volume work, Evidence That Demands a Verdict, you can order it cheap off of Amazon.
