Alcohol consumption policy in New York State Parks?

Does anyone know what the policies are regarding alcoholic beverages in New York State Parks, links to literature or some sort of reference would be greatly appreciated.

we've camped in a number of ny state parks and never saw were you couldn't bring alcohol. i'd contact the specific park that you were interested in and ask them.

I know in the city there is no drinking in public (including parks). Try nygov.com

who cares. go into any park and people are smoking up, they sure aren't going to stop you if your drinking
