the girl next dr is 15 and dad has custody he also has a gf and he makes the 15 yr old stay home while he goes out all the time he has money to date but not for the daughter to go to the mall for clothes what can i do to help he gets upset if anyone trys to say any thing but the daughter has trouble w./ depression due to this help please

She should study hard so she can get out of high school and go away to college. GROW UP and get a job so she'll have her own money to go to the mall for clothes. Dad probably needs a nice woman in his life...teenage girls can be a royal pain!

I saw the other answer about spending time with her and that is a good suggestion. Sometimes peoples parents will not listen to advice and presume you are interfering, and she might need a friend anyway considering what she is going through.

It sounds like you're a really good person why don't you try spending some time with her?? I mean sure she may be a little annoying at times but hey she needs someone like you in her life!!

There must be a teen help line in your area. Refer your girl next door friend to them. They might be able to help.

she should move in with a close relative she knows and trusts and cares about her or talk to her dad and if he doesnt listen forget about him and hate him all her life and to stay strong

take the time out to get to know his girlfriend and then explain to her the situation she will take care of it she is probably in the dark too.
