Jesus was not crucified for committing a sin per se, he was crucified because he threatened both the Jewish and Roman establishment (as well as Herod's influence) in Judea, and because he claimed to be the hereditary King of the Jews (via the house of David) and the son of God. Basically, in the eyes of those in power at the time, Jesus was a dangerous political radical and a religious nut. The Temple establishment considered his claims to be blasphemous, which is about the only sin that you could really pin on him under the circumstances. Considering that you are probably a Christian and don't believe that he was blaspheming at the time, themn he really didn't commit any sins, but probably broke the law and represented a threat to the status quo.

He didn't commit a sin he broke the law in the eyes of the Jewish church, in those days it was easy to be stoned to death for the simplest acts against the church, they simply did not like what he was saying to his followers, the leaders of the church seen it as blasphemy so they got the Romans to crucify him, he really did nothing wrong from our perspective today other than being a bit of a rebel and being called the king of the Jews, but back then it would not take much to set things off, back then life was a misery, I can just imagine the hardships people must of had just to survive.

Your premise is faulty - not all misery is the result of sin, nor is all wealth and happiness the result of "clean living." God does various things in our life for our benefit, though we may not see the reason or the wisdom for them at the time.

Jesus did not commit any sin - He became sin for us and therefore took the punishment that was supposed to be ours onto Himself, so that all who might believe in Him would have eternal life.

This life is not the "be all" and "end all" of our existence. We live to proclaim Him to others on Earth, until the time that we are called to His side. When that happens, the toils and tears and injustice of this life will be behind, and we will get to enjoy peace and joy forever in Heaven...

I kind of like that last part. If you want to think that life has no meaning and we all turn to dust after this life is over and that is the end of the story... I guess we'll all find out in the end, won't we?

Jesus committed no sin--ever. He was crucified because he wanted to change the status quo meaning that he pointed out that those in religious power at the time abused that privilege and authority for the power, the prestige and the money. They were unwilling to give that up. They wanted Jesus condemned for blasphemy because he claimed to be the son of God. They were unable to do that legally since Romans were the rulers of the province. So, since he called himself God, he was saying that he was higher than Cesar, which was a capital offense.

Jesus committed no sin. The bible states point blank that he was sinless.

He was crucified for "being the king of the Jews" Meaning that the powers that be in that day and age, did not believe he was their Messiah, so they wanted him dead.

He was preaching and teaching that the powers that be were not following God and only wanted to be followed themselves.

The Roman government could find no reason to punish Jesus and no crime to charge him with, so they simply gave into the loud Mob that was screaming that they wanted him dead.

This was done to restore public calm, even though they could find no reason to crucify him.

You don't understand the scriptures. Christ was sinless. His suffering was a willing sacrifice on His part to atone for our sins. He was the first true vicarious offering of one for another. That is why He taught that greater love has no man than he lay down his life for another. That is what He did for all of us.
In the meantime, suffering comes from a number of sources. Sometimes we suffer as a natural consequence of our own dumb mistakes or bad choices. In other words, you can't escape natural consequences.
You drink, drive and get in an accident.
Some suffering is the consequence of another persons bad actions or choices.
We didn't do anything wrong to be robbed. We were just in the wrong place at the wrong time for another person to take advantage of us.
Some suffering is a natural result of our mortal condition. Our bodies and our world environment are not perfect and we are subject to sicknesses and weaknesses that are natural to our world. Allergies, diseases and natural disasters come to mind.
Finally, there are punishments from heaven usually after prolonged periods of wickedness on the part of mankind. This can be in the form of natural disasters, violence wrought upon us by people or nations, or afflictions of body and spirit.
There are so many forms and origins for our suffering that is wrong for any of us to try to judge anothers suffering and declare what the cause is. We are told to bear our afflictions patiently and try to follow God's teachings and then He will help us get through the sorrows until we ultimately find rest.

Anything can be made into a sin......

Jesus was crucified because it was Gods master plan. If you ask me he knew what he was getting into when he signed up. According to the bible he was born to die for the sins of others......

Not a job I would have signed up for.
P.s. by the way I am a pagan..

He did not commit any sins. He was crucified for our sins that we would not have to go to the cross for our wrong doing that all we would have to do is pray for forgiveness. He made it so that we would not have to shed blood for our sins. In the biblical days if you sin, you were punished usually with death. So Jesus ended that.
