one of my friends tried making her boyfriend jealous by saying that she was cheating on her boyfriend with mine. she said it wasnt true that she was just saying it to make her ex mad. my boyfriend said it wasnt true. he didnt seem to be upset that she made up a lie like that though. is there something really going on between them?

It's hard to say. If it's not true, that's a horrible thing to say and very immature. I would think that your boyfriend should have been upset about it. Something said like that can cause a lot of problems for everyone involved. I'd be keeping my eye on both of them.

I would definitely be suspicious. Even if something hasn't happened yet, it's very apparent that they at least like eachother. If they didn't then she wouldn't have said anything about your boyfriend and he wouldn't have been flattered that she used him as an accomplice in her cheating. That's a hard situation because it's obviously the two people you care the most about, but you need to get to the bottom of things. You need to talk to your friend first and tell her how you feel. No friend would've done that even out of spite. As far as your boyfriend, he should've supported you and not encouraged her behavior. He didn't seem too concerned with the probability of you breaking up with him...Either way you need to talk with both of them together and watch their reactions...More than likely their body language will speak volumes when you confront them. If you do feel like something happened it's best to walk away from both no matter how hard it may be. Anyone who would do that to you shouldn't be allowed in your life.

she probably said that for the attention she hoped to gain from her b/f. She seems to have self esteem issues and what kind of friend would even bring her friends husband into the situation anyway?
I think that if your b/f was guilty he would deny it outrageously. Make a a$$ of himself trying to defend himself. He probably could care less about what she says because he knows that he would never do something like that and he expects you to know that.

how did you even find out that she said that?
If you found out from someone else, then I would worry. But if your friend personally told you that she said that, I'd give her the benefit of the doubt. And about your bf not asking upset, well, most guys are generally like that; they don't really get upset about stuff like this.

wow y would she tell her guy she was cheating y would she want to make him jealous thats stupid and y would she use ur bf as a n example if it really wasnt anything going on i dont like that situation its something to that because she could have made up a boy name and used not ur bf

WOW...that is crazy!!! there could be something going on between them, you just have to look for some signs, like is he wanting to spend less time with you all of a sudden, or losing sexual interest in you, or with your friend, is she acting different, or not wanting to be around you as much, there are many signs.....maybe you should go talk to her boyfriend...

doubt it, but from the guy's point of view as long as he didn't do anything he isn't concerned about what is said because all men like to claim more experience than they have had, but from your standpoint it makes it seem like you are with someone who's cheated (at least that is how it will seem to mutual friends) and that is why it bothers you. Perception is more of the issue here than actual deeds.

there probably isnt anything going on between them. and he probably didnt really react because its ridiculous in the first place that a girl would make something up like that to make their boyfriend jealous.

cause she a self absorb person who doesn't care who she toy around with just along it make her happy. who need friend like that right? have you ever see your boyfriend with her alone? talk to him and tell him that this situation is bothering you.express your feelings and tell him that a healthy relationship need to be base on truth and honesty. as for her, get as far away from her as possible. you don't need that type of baggage around your life. people like her could never be satisfied until she ruin your life.she's get off with other miseries.
