Depends on what Cain"s wife liked. Some women starts with the eggs , then go to the chicken. Some starts by kissing the chicken and massaging the egg. Hard to answer

Well, if your going by that version, Cain had already killed his brother and married some woman who was either roaming aimlessly outside of the Garden or his sister, so I guess he wouldn't hesitate to kill a chicken...why did he give her either? To eat? If so, a chicken would provide more food in the short-term, an egg could go on to be a chicken that lays more eggs...and so on.
But, if the Garden story had already happened, I think the first chicken already existed. God BREATHED life into Adam so (according to that) everything was formed as an adult first.

Neither, Cain was a tiller of soil. He offered plants or crops for his sacificial offering. Able was the rancher and offered the firstlings of his flocks as a sacrifice. So why would he offer his wife anything different than he offered to God?

That's why the Bible should not be taken literally. It is written in order for us to get God's message behind the passages of the scriptures.
Our question would then be: What is God's message for me through this story? And what should I do then in response to such message?

Yeah the first answerer was right. He got the dirty bird to do his dirty work. He had a thing for getting animals to do things for him. The snake was just a disgruntled employee.
