he never touches me?

Question

Myself and my boyfriend have been together a short while and are moving semi-slow because we're both recently out of serious relationships/heartbreak (mine broken engagement, him divorce). We're doing quite well except one thing..he's very open about how he feels towards me, including all the corny things most people will never say, and we are intimate on a regular basis without having our relationship based on it.. but he's not physically affectionate towards me. He loves it when i give him affection so i can't assume he's just not into physical affection.. he barely ever touches me. I hold him, kiss him ect.. but the most i can get from him without asking is an occasion brush or hug when i'm leaving.. it's as if i'm in highschool again!
When I brought it up to him casually he denied it, and i honestly think he thinks he is affectionate..

How do i talk to him, or get him to touch me?
the most i get is him to put his head against mine while he sleeps..

for those that misconstrued this before.
"we are intimate on a regular basis " we have sex, im talking about normal physical AFFECTION. like holding someone, or kissing them

try holding his hand and making it a point to always have physical contact even if its initiated by you. when i first met my wife she was the same way but after some time of me doing that, if i sit or stand or walk near her and we arent touching for longer than a few minutes, she grabs me! try it out, it worked for me! good luck

i did it before i wasnt as affectionate because i was so affectionate in the relationship before tht i was scare to be affectionate
