Just don't be too shy. Everyone gets shy when they want a good guy. Just hang around them or find out about them. Or ask him questions but don't be all up in their buisness. Just relax and get the good one.

Ask friends to introduce you to someone or join a club/organization so you will meet people who like things you like there and you have the ready made excuse for talking to them because you can talk about your club stuff.

Dress up really cute and make sure they notice you. Walk past, smile at em'. Stop nearby, so you're still in their view and act like your looking for something in your purse, or grab a paper and pretend your reading it. See how long it'll take for em' to come over and say something. If your bold, you could pretend like you need help with something,like your cell phone or something. And then strike up a convo from there.

Take group dance lessons. They pair people up and you rotate partners. Each dance is like a mini two minute opportunity for conversation. Plus, guys who are learning to dance must not be complete couch potatoes, and sometime they are even fun.
