When was the last time the government utilized the recall of inactive reserves?

I know what an inactive reserve is...I was in the army. I am just wondering when the last time the military as utilized such a course of action.

The last call up was the same war. Marines get a minimum of 8 years of duty, four active and four reserve. These guys are not some old guys that haven't seen duty for decades.

My question would be why? Where are all the warmongering Republicans? Why aren't they signing up?
