my boy is 48 but my mind can't make it's self up if it's 20 or 100

Haha... I hear ya. Sometimes my mental age is just right for hanging with my younger (19 y/o) brother, other days I feel like I'm just about ready to check out the old age homes so I can make my reservations! But as far as your question, I don't think you are too old to be on here, seems people of all ages participate. That's one of the great things about this place, you can get the view points of so many different age groups and upbringings..... so ask and answer away.

No I am old too ..I am 64 have a son who is 35 who has just told me that I am a "bad person". He seems bad tempered and hotile to everyone, quarrels with his wife and is nasty to his daughers aged 3,6 and 12 (according to them) His wife and he were in the smae class at 15 and she got pregnant when he was 22 to get him to marry her and kept getting pregnant every time he tried to leave. She wishes to control him and everyone and does not want his family near only her own parents and friends.
She does not like her brother who is gay and is cold towards her children and everyone. I heard her talking on the telephone to her mother about me saying how pathetic she thought I was.
My son must have been told something awful about me but will not say what it is that makes me "a bed person". Help what shall I do to communicate. The grandchildren want me around and my ex husband and say that they love us.

Cheer up, sonny! I'm 53.
And, I've decided that I'm happiest when I act my internal age, which is 27 (this does not extend to wearing dopey, inappropriate fashions, though).

You are only as old as you act. I'm 28. There are people of all ages here, just have fun with it.

It depends on how you define "old". I know people who are in their 20's who think they are old and I know people in their 60's who think that they are still young. Besides, who cares who many years you have lived. It's how you lived them that counts.
