you have to be honest! did you know you had someone else in your heart before now? so you could have prevented this? look, i dont wanna be mean, but, if you knew you had someone else in your heart for a while, why would you keep seeing this person? this person you are telling this to, they are going to be quite mad, and try to fix it, but if you do not love them then you cannot stay with them. one question: who do you know more, the one your with now, or the one who is really in your heart? this should answer your question. there is no easy way to tell this person who is in love with you. so i say just be honest and tell them the truth.

I've been there and it wasn't easy for me. I was in love with this guy but this other guy was in love with me. Talk about taking 2 asprins and calling in the morning. I decided to be honest with the guy who was in love with me. I told him that I appreciate the fact that he loves me but my heart belongs to another and honestly I can't see anything more coming out of this relationship but friendship. He told me that if we couldn't be together then we couldn't be friends. It was his loss but I understood where he was coming from but I couldn't give up on my love just because this other guy loved me. It wouldn't have been fair. I pray that it works out for you.

You need to just come out and tell them. Of course it will hurt them, but you owe them honesty.
