I don't know why you'd want a holiday camel trekking, they smell bad, are uncomfortable to ride and normally come with an owner that would rob you blind given half a chance.
Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt is a good holiday and there is plenty of camel trekking trips to do but its much better to go quad biking throught the desert.

Jaiselmer in Rajasthan India is fabulous, for some thing a bit closer to home then Petra, Jordan is spectacular too.
