Ask em? If that don't work, beat the tar out of em til they confess! If that don't work, draw blood and have it tested. Course if you beat the tar out of em, there should be some blood to test.
Just kidding. If they are lying to you, then your not going to get a straight answer. So you have to watch em. Look for the signs of use.

you dont, unless they think you do drugs as well, they arent going to trust you with any answer but ''no'' this kind of thing takes at least a week to earn trust, especially if they do have something to hide.
