You claim there are many paths to God and that all paths are valid. It is clear you have no idea what you are talking about. It doesn’t take a three digit IQ to understand that two things that are mutually exclusive both can’t be right. If Christianity is true then you are wrong. If you are right then Christianity is wrong. You can’t have it both ways, both can’t be correct. So stop being patronizing and smug. Either worship God or worship the Devil.

I know you really want to start whining about how you don’t worship the Devil because you don’t believe in the Devil. Face up to THE TRUTH.

Jesus Loves You but the Devil is destroying you.

In Christ

I can see that we are dealing with the low end of the two digit IQ range.

Truth is Truth or it is not.

It is simple enough.

A$$HOLES like you are the reason I cant begin to give narrow minded Cristian men a chance......Christianity is just an easy way for men to go on a power trip....notice women are not quite so loud about it like you???? or are you just afraid to let a woman be the supreme power in your life ie.. the goddess.........maybe you should improve your I.Q by reading something other than the bible.

Do you mean Wiccans and what exactly is a Pluralist? It is clear you have no idea what you are talking about. If both believe in an all powerful supreme being or creator how are they mutually exclusive? They are two sides of the same coin, different but both worth the same amount.

Oh, and Bob, I do have a 3 digit IQ.

We meet again Bob!

I can assure you my IQ is well in the three digit range you refer to.

Well Bob, see, the problem here is the big qualifier...."IF". This particular case is probably unique. Normally I would agree with you. "IF" Christianity is true...100% across the board...you would be correct Bob. We would be wrong and likely destined for that hell you so desperately want to see us fall into. BUT..."IF" we are right...guess what...You are still OK Bob and will be no worse for wear, so to speak.

I've come to a conclusion about you Bob. There are generally two types of Christians. One thinks people who don't believe the way they do are going to hell, and it breaks their heart. The other believes basically the same thing...and it delights them to no end. Guess which one you are Bob!

Actually we believe there are many paths to the Divine, not God. There is a difference. As long as you are willing to believe in a higher purpose and try to make the world a better place then it doesn't matter whether it is God/Goddess, Allah, Jehovah, Yahweh, Sheba, or any other names that you give the Divine for all those names are but facets of the gem that is the true Divine just as we are all a part of the Divine and therefore Divine ourselves. The semantics of how we show our faith is not important as the act itself.

Whatever you say chum but I'm afraid we'll have to agree to disagree. See all paths are valid. None of them are wrong, and none of them are completely right either. None of the religions or faiths has "got it" but none of them are invalid either. That's the beauty of different paths. There is so much for an individual to choose from that would suit his or her needs.

The world is not black and white like that and neither is spirituality. But if you want to continue to live in that dualistic box then fine...if it gives you comfort and security more power to you. Just don't expect the rest of us to fall in line.

I'm not a Pluralist or Wiccan, but I too attest that all paths are valid. God does not care what religion you are. He only cares about what is in your heart. So if your heart is right and true with God it doesn't matter which religion got you there, as long as you are there. The key is all paths are right, not that only one path is right. I believe that Jesus said If they are not against us they are for us.

It's a consistent position as long as you see god as the 'god experience' itself and not some magic old man in the sky or other objective entity.

From that perspective, Christianity is 'right' in the sense that it provides you with the god experience, not in the sense that it is nomologically correct. Nomological correctness is irrelevant from a pluralist perspective. What matters from that perspective is the god experience itself.

Why don't you face up to the truth? Just because that religion is right for you, doesn't mean it's right for everyone! Those are your beliefs, why can't you understand that just because others have different beliefs than you, doesn't mean that they worship the devil or satan or whatever you want to call the evil dude.

The point is that not everyone believes that the various faiths are mutually exclusive.

You started with an assumed given and then concluded the assumed given.

That's logical nonsense and circular logic, bob.

THE TRUTH is a matter of perspective, of which yours apparently differs from that of those who hold the beliefs you've referred to. So leave it at that. Undoubtedly, someone not sharing your perspective on religion could point out several instances of what they saw as "nonsense" in your religion, as well. What are you, the God patrol?
